Licenses & Certifications

An arborist license is required to do tree work in South Bend. To use chemical treatments on trees and plants, the applicator must be licensed through the state chemist; this applies to both Michigan and Indiana.

Higher Ground Tree Care takes licensing and certification requirements seriously – and so should you. Not only is it legally required, but it ensures that your trees and property are taken care of safely and following accepted best practices.

Expert knowledge.

Great to work with. Expert knowledge. The results speak for themselves. Our dying tree was treated by higher ground several years ago. We had moved into our house the year prior and were just starting to learn a bit more about our yard. We were shocked in the winter after we treated it to see that when healthy this tree sprouted thousands of berries the birds enjoyed all winter long. Their work has been a great success in our yard.
